iPad Mini Announcement

I thought I would make a small attempt in reviving the forums by posting a thread. If you weren't aware, Apple announced the iPad Mini today! As you might guess from the previous emoticon, I am in favor of the new product. I am one of the biggest Apple fans you will ever meet, but I am not totally biased. In my opinion, the iPad Mini competes with the smaller tablets, like the Nexus 7 and Kindle Fire HD and totally blows them away, if you aren't considering the price. Some observers believe the iPad Mini is like a bigger iPod Touch or a pointless iPad but just reduced in size. I like that you are now able to hold an iPad in one hand, carry it around easier, and still have all of the great features included in the iPad. What's your opinion? I realize some people dislike Apple and their products, but I was just wondering.
